“An Uplifting Trio” – Jazz at Noon Episode 8 – featuring Luis Diaz, Clay Schaub, Victor Campbell, Dan Dance, Carl Storniolo, Duma Saafir and Don Linke.

Episode eight features an uplifting trio of tracks including:

How Insensitive - Antonio Carlos Jobim - A bossa nova song composed by the Brazilian musician. Features Luis Diaz, better known as Flaco, on conga drums, Clay Schaub on bass and Don Linke on guitar. Originally recorded on March 27th, 2019. 

In Your Own Sweet Way - Dave Brubeck - A 1955 jazz standard written for Brubeck’s wife, Lola. This version features Dan Dance on piano, Victor Campbell on drums and Don Linke on bass. Previously recorded on March 2nd, 2020.

Summer Samba - Marcos Valle - A big hit by the Brazilian composer from the early 1960’s. Here it’s performed with a Caribbean feel featuring Carl Storniolo on pans, also known as the steel drums, Duma Saafir on cajon and bongos, and Don Linke on electric bass.
